Volunteers
Volunteers are the lifeblood of any non-profit. Act Naturally relies on volunteers for every level of our operation. We work with volunteer placement organizations, colleges that require students to perform community service as part of their curriculum, Craigslist, social networking, community list serves and other non-profits set up to help source volunteers. Social Media Coordinator
Hours: 25 hours a week
Do you have a gentle, engaging online personality? Do you know your way around Facebook, WordPress and Twitter and can write a grammatically correct email? Do you share in our vision of an organic India with farmers and communities controlling their food supply? Do you have a passion for eating healthy food, or love to garden? If you answered yes to these, then your a perfect fit! We are looking for a computer savvy, passionate individual to manage responses to our social media networks. This includes moderating our blog site, sending out email newsletters, updating our wall, making initial contact to new members following a loose script and using your personality to engage them on issues of bio piracy, farmer suicides, organic food, genetically modified food, and the programs and funds offered through Act Naturally.
